Shaun The Courageous

You know how back in medieval times, well probably before that, people were given names like Ivan the Terrible, or Alexander The Great, or Victor The Magnificent … (ok I made that one up), well I came across a guy on twitter who challeneged me and at the same time empowered me to live outside the realm of my existence. Shaun King, who I like to refer to as Shaun The Courageous, is a 30 year old husband, father, pastor, and grad student (in that order) in downtown Atlanta. he is the Lead Pastor of The Courageous Church – a brand new, diverse, exciting community of faith that launched on January 11th, 2009! If I remember correctly, i saw a message that someone retweeted during the Haiti earthquake earlier this year. And I wanted to find out “who this guy named Shaun?” I went to his blog and was blown away by his story.
Not only is his story amazing, he has been an integral part in restoration in the nation of Haiti. I would do him an injustice if I continued on so I’m just gonna let you jump to his blog titled Shaun In The City. You will not be disappointed.
